Rushbanks Campsite is a family friendly site suitable for individual, solo campers, couples and groups of family and friends.
You can relax sitting beside the river Stour looking at fish, ducks and swans. Children can play on the swing in the play area. Fishing is free of charge and allowed during the fishing season.
A sunset paddle at Rushbanks Campsite - relax and unwind
Canoe hire is available from the site. You can paddle to the pub for a Saturday or Sunday lunch before paddling back with a spring in your paddle. A truly fantastic, authentic experience paddling the river Stour with all its amazing colours along the route.

Rushbanks Campsite has beautiful views of the Dedham Vale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). The artist John Constable was a massive fan of the area where he was brought up as a child.
Campfires are allowed and available. We offer fire pits and grills and sell logs for you to create the ultimate barbecue in the evening. Unwind under the stars sipping a nice glass of beer or wine before tucking in to your evening meal. Enjoy a true back to nature experience.
