Arriving by car

From Colchester

  • Take the A134 towards Nayland

  • In Nayland, turn left signed “Bures”

  • Continue for about 2km (passing the lane signed “Wissington Church”)

  • Look for the campsite sign and turn through the gate

  • Follow the farm track downhill to the waterside (5mph)

From Bures

  • Take the B1508 to Bures

  • In the village, turn by the church into Nayland Road

  • After about 3km, look for Rushbanks Farm on the left

  • Shortly after, turn through the gate on the right

  • Follow the farm track downhill to the waterside (5mph)

Where do I park?

We have a car park by the toilet facilities, plus parking on-site depending on where you camp:

  • Riverside camping: park by the hedge (not beside the riverbank).

  • Most other areas: you can usually park beside your tent/caravan/campervan.

  • Large groups / busy weekends: please use the car park if asked — it helps everyone fit comfortably.

Food deliveries (very important)

If you’re ordering food deliveries, we recommend you meet the driver in our car park. Signal can drop on the track and drivers may struggle to reach you once they’re down on the site.
